Bruno Mars prosigue su éxito en el proyecto musical de Silk Sonic, una banda que cuenta también con Anderson .Paak. Ahora presentan ‘Smokin Out The Window’ , el tercer adelanto del álbum “An Evening with Silk Sonic”, acompañado del correspondiente videoclip.
‘Smokin Out The Window’ fue compuesta por Mars D’Mile, Anderson .Paak & Bruno Mars con producción de D’Mile & Bruno. En el divertido vídeo musical, dirigido de nuevo como los anteriores por el propio Bruno junto a John Esparza, ambos protagonistas intercambian de forma constante el papel de voz principal y coros.
“An Evening With Silk Sonic” será el primer álbum de Silk Sonic, para el que han contado con la colaboración especial del legendario músico Bootsy Collins y saldrá a la venta el próximo 12 de noviembre. Un trabajo discográfico en el que mezclaran los estilos funky, soul, pop y R&B transportando a los 70’s. Con este nuevo single dan continuidad al éxito del primer single, ‘Leave the Door Open’ (#1 de la lista Billboard Hot 100 de EE.UU. durante 18 semanas) y el segundo, ‘Skate’.
Este será el primer trabajo de Bruno Mars desde 2016, cuando lanzó “24K Magic” (que se llevó 7 premios Grammy´s, incluido Álbum del año y Mejor álbum de R&B), aunque más recientemente ha colaborado con otros artistas como Cardi B o Ed Sheeran. Por parte de Anderson .Paak lanzó “Ventura” en 2019. Ambos artistas hicieron tours juntos en 2017, trabajando en nuevo material con Nile Rodgers y Disclosure en Abbey Road.
