La cantante norteamericana Miley Cyrus presenta ‘Angels like you’, su nuevo single acompañado del correspondiente videoclip. Es el cuarto sencillo que se lanza de “Plastic hearts”, su último álbum publicado en noviembre pasado.
‘Angels like you’ ha sido compuesta por Miley Cyrus, Ali Tamposi, Ryan Tedder, Louis Bell y Andrew Watt, contando con éstos dos últimos en la producción. El vídeo musical ha sido dirigido por Alana O’Herlehy y la propia Miley, siendo grabado durante su actuación previa en la Super Bowl el 7 de febrero pasado, con imágenes de la presentación y una audiencia compuesta por trabajadores de la salud ya vacunados, durante un evento conocido como #TikTokTailgate y que fue transmitido por el canal de la NFL.
«Angels Like You video ¡Ya está fuera! Filmado el 2/7/21 en #TikTokTailgate, el primer concierto al aire libre seguro contra el Covid, desde que la pandemia cambió nuestras vidas para siempre.» comentó la artista tras su lanzamiento, añadiendo: «Nunca hubiera pensado cuando escribí “Angels” que la primera vez que interpretaría esta canción o filmaría un video musical sería en un momento como este» añadió.
‘Angels like you’ es el cuarto single del reciente álbum de Miley Cyrus, “Plastic Hearts”, que ya vino precedido por ‘Midnight Sky’, posteriormente la versión de ‘Heart Of Glass’ de Blondie y por último ‘Prisoner’ junto a Dua Lipa. Un trabajo discográfico, el séptimo en su carrera, que contiene más colaboraciones como las de los veteranos Stevie Nicks, Billy Idol y Joan Jett. 15 canciones que reflejan la etapa de transformación que está viviendo la artista actualmente, con sus últimas actuaciones de covers, un tanto más rockeros, de éxitos de otros artistas.
