La cantante australiana Kylie Minogue presenta ‘A Second to Midnight’, su nuevo single en el que colabora el británico Olly Alexander (aka Years & Years) y que viene acompañado del correspondiente videoclip. El tema estará incluido en la próxima reedición del último álbum de ella, “DISCO” .
‘A Second to Midnight’ ha sido producida por Richard “Biff” Stannard y Duck Blackwell con composición junto a Kylie Minogue, Martin Sjølie & Olly Alexander. El vídeo musical sido dirigido por Sophie Muller (habitual de Kylie) y filmado en el histórico Collins Music Hall de Londres, con imágenes de ambos intercambiando roles. Recientemente los dos, que son amigos desde 2016 cuando se unieron durante un concierto en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres, también colaboraron en otro tema del disco de él, ‘Starstruck’.

Tuve mucha diversión conectando con Olly en este video», comentó Kylie en redes sociales, añadiendo Olly : «Trabajar con Kylie fue literal un sueño hecho realidad. Su música me ha inspirado constantemente desde que era un niño, ella es un verdadero icono y me pellizco que esto esté pasando actualmente!’«.
Es el primer avance de la edición Guest List Edition de “DISCO”, reedición del 15º álbum de Kylie con el que alcanzó su octavo #1 en U.K. e hizo historia como la primera artista femenina en tener un álbum nº1 en UK en cinco décadas consecutivas. Asimismo, la artista acaba de celebrar los 20 años de “Fever” con otra reedición en vinilo.
“DISCO : Guest List edition” llegará el próximo 12 de noviembre en varios formatos, CD digital y vinilo, un año después de la edición original e incluirá todos los temas de aquella junto a un segundo disco con remezclas más nuevos temas de Kylie Minogue con colaboraciones destacadas de Years & Years, Jessie Ware, Dua Lipa o la leyenda de la música disco Gloria Gaynor. Además, la edición deluxe incluirá el concierto “Infinite Disco”, emitido por streaming mundialmente para presentar este último trabajo además de repasar algunos de sus clásicos.
