El artista británico Rod Stewart presenta ‘One more time‘, el primer anticipo de su próximo álbum “The tears of Hercules” que se publica en noviembre, y que viene acompañado del correspondiente videoclip.
‘One more time‘ ha sido co-escrita con Kevin Savigar y cuenta con un vídeo musical en el que aparece caminando y bailando por la calle enérgicamente, junto a unas bailarinas, recorriéndose algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de Londres como Hyde Park o la avenida The Mall frente al palacio de Buckingham.
“The tears of Hercules” será el 31º álbum de estudio de Rod Stewart a sus 76 años de edad, una colección en la que se incluyen 9 canciones originales compuestas por él mismo y 3 versiones de Marc Jordan, Soul Brother Six y Johnny Cash, contando con la colaboración de Kevin Savigar con quien trabajó en sus tres anteriores discos de estudio. Ha comentado que «Nunca había dicho esto sobre ninguno de mis esfuerzos anteriores, pero creo que este es, de lejos, mi mejor álbum en muchos años«, un disco que presentará en directo el próximo año durante su gira por Norteamérica.
Tras muchos discos de versiones y recopilatorios Rod Stewart publicó “Time” (2013), un punto de inflexión en su carrera con el que volvía a crear sus propias canciones, dando continuidad con “Another country” (2015) y “Blood red roses” (2018). Es uno de los artistas más vendidos en la historia de la música, con un estimado de 250 millones de discos y sencillos vendidos en todo el mundo en 5 décadas de carrera musical con clásicos como ‘Maggie May’, ‘Tonight’s The Night (Gonna Be Alright)’, ‘Sailing’, ‘I Don’t’ Want To Talk About It’,’Stay With Me’ o ‘Forever Young’.
