El paquidermo, de nombre Sengamalam, ha logrado llamar la atención de los internautas por su curioso ‘pelo casco’ que su dueño, S Rajagopal, peina con esmero cada día, informa ‘Mannai Online‘.
«Se le conoce por ‘Pelo Casco Sengamalam’, aclaró su amo. «Es como mi hijo y siempre quise que fuera diferente», continuó con sus declaraciones.

Rajagopal explicó que debe lavarle el cabello unas tres veces al día durante el verano, y al menos una el resto del año.
Must clarify that she is also one of the few #Temple #elephants that is NOT «tied up» all times. She does roam freely for sometime whilst the temple is shut and when devotees are not allowed near her.Her upkeep has truly been well taken care of.
