La banda norteamericana Major Lazer, la cantante australiana Sia y el británico Labrinth presentan el single ‘Titans’, su nuevo tema en colaboración acompañado del siguiente videoclip. La canción forma parte de la nueva edición del cuarto y último disco del grupo, “Music Is The Weapon (reoladed)”.
‘Titans’ ha sido producida por Boaz van de Beatz, Johnny Goldstein & Diplo, contando a su vez en la composición con Jr. Blender, Sia y Labrinth. El vídeo musical ha sido dirigido por Ernest Desumbila.
Los dos cantantes solistas ya habían colaborado antes con Diplo (componente del grupo) con el lanzamiento del álbum «LSD» (nombre que hacía alusión a las iniciales de cada nombre: Labrinth, Sia y Diplo), lanzado en 2018 con canciones destacadas como ‘Thunderclouds’, ‘Mountains’ o ‘No New Friends’, entre otras, el cual acumuló más de 1 billón de reproducciones en Spotify.
El tema forma parte de la reedición último álbum del conjunto de música electrónica Major Lazer (lanzada en 2020) en una nueva edición de lujo titulada «Music Is The Weapon (reloaded)». Además de las colaboraciones ya incluidas anteriormente de Nicki Minaj, Alessia Cara, J Balvin, Anitta, Paloma Mami (‘QueLoQué’, lanzada el pasado enero) o Khalid, cuenta con varias nuevas: ‘Diplomático’ (con el puertorriqueño Guaynaa), ‘C´est cuit’ (con la estrella francesa Aya Nakamura y Swae Lee de Rae Sremmurd), ‘Pra te Machucar’ (con la revelación de Brasil, Ludmilla) o ‘Hands Up’ (con el performer de Sudáfrica, Moonchild Sanelly y el músico Mosotho, Morena Leraba).
Major Lazer es un trío global de música de baile y electrónica formado por Diplo, Walshy Fire y Ape Drums actualmente. Cuentan con cuatro álbumes en su haber, “Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do” ( 2009), “Free The Universe” (2013), “Peace Is The Mission” (2015, que incluyó el megaexito mundial ‘Lean On’ con DJ Snake y MØ) y“Music Is The Weapon”(2020).
